Start: StayBridge Suites, Missoula, MT

Miles: 365 miles
We arrived in Wenatchee!!! So thankful to be at our destination and to see family...and to not be traveling for a couple days.
I felt well enough to able to run on the treadmill for a bit this morning, which was nice. Then I got the kiddos up (yes, they've been staying up late and I've had to wake them up! Crazy. Well, other than Finn. He's my early riser.) and we went to breakfast.
It was pretty much a travel day but we did stop at a Rest Stop for a bathroom break and to stretch our legs. The kiddos all climbed a steep hill and wore off some energy until Mommy started thinking they might actually break their legs and told them to get down! This sign cracked me up for some reason:
Emma experienced two firsts today: a new state (Washington) and a new time zone (Pacific). So exciting. And she was finally able to drive again since we got out of the mountains for a bit. She is such a conscientious driver! Plus, Jim napped in the back seat, so we got some time to catch up and chat, which was really nice.
And Mac napped. Like NAPPED for at least two hours. 30 minutes in...
Still sleeping...one hour later...
Still sleeping...another 30 minutes later...
Me thinks somebody has been staying up a bit too late...
We stopped at a fruit stand to switch drivers and to get a trooper off our tail (Emma and I were sweating bullets for about 10 miles!). And we got ice cream, duh! Isn't that what you get at a fruit stand?!?!
And then FINALLY we made it to Wenatchee and to Nana and Papa's just in time for Patio Time. Okay a little late (4:30pm) but they didn't care.
So good to catch up and spend time with family (Auntie Debbie was there, too!). We had some pizza, hung out, chatted and then headed to the hotel to unpack and get a quick swim in before bed.
Looking forward to going a Dam museum (dam not damn!! LOL) and just hanging out until Patio Time and the arrival of Sonia and Porter!
Emma did work on a MacAttack video today but didn't get as much done as she thought since she was driving or without service for most of the trip. We'll see what she comes up with. Hopefully I can post them soon. They are hilarious. Well, so is Mac, so it makes sense.
Until tomorrow!

Nearly half a million babies (1 in 10) are born premature in the US each year which is higher than that of most other developed nations. This is the journeys of our first born son, Finnegan, who was born 14 weeks early and weighed only 1 pound 15 ounces at birth. Of our daugher, Korrigan, who was born a healthy 7 pounds, 7 ounces at 37 weeks. And of our second son, MacKeegan, who was also born at 37 weeks at a whopping 8 pounds, 13 ounces. Our continued adventures reminds us daily how good God is.
