We had a late night last night. Emma and I stayed up watching Dirty Dancing and then the Patrick Swayze documentary "I am Patrick" until really late (I think my FitBit said I went to sleep at 2:15am!). I may have had a few drinks while watching, so I was NOT feeling great this morning. But I rallied and took the kiddos down for breakfast and even managed to eat a hard boiled egg! The kiddos loved the StayBridge's yogurt "bar" except they figured out it tastes the best WITHOUT the yogurt: just strawberries, whipped cream and chocolate sauce! LOL Whatever. We're on vacation.
Today was basically a travel day with nothing else really planned. I think we left around 11am and got into our hotel around 4pm. The ONE thing we did today was stop at Burger King to try their new Impossible Whopper. Have you heard of it or tried it? It is a flame-grilled patty made from plants. And you guys...it TASTES and looks just like meat! I mean, you know Jim and if it was weird at all, he would have said so. But he ate almost all of it (it's still a Whopper, so it was a bit too big!). So that was our big adventure today. Oh, and they had a play area, so the kids got to play off some energy.
Tonight, we decided to stay in and have a relaxing evening. Emma and I worked out (as you can imagine, I was NOT in any condition to work out this morning, even with our late start!). The kiddos had some electronics time then went swimming (duh) and then had dinner. I mentioned going to the Pictograph Cave State Park near Billings when we got in, but we were all a bit wearied due to travel. Maybe next time.
I think Emma is working on editing Mac's third video, but it is from the whole weekend, so it might be longer. Maybe I can post tomorrow...

Nearly half a million babies (1 in 10) are born premature in the US each year which is higher than that of most other developed nations. This is the journeys of our first born son, Finnegan, who was born 14 weeks early and weighed only 1 pound 15 ounces at birth. Of our daugher, Korrigan, who was born a healthy 7 pounds, 7 ounces at 37 weeks. And of our second son, MacKeegan, who was also born at 37 weeks at a whopping 8 pounds, 13 ounces. Our continued adventures reminds us daily how good God is.
