Nearly half a million babies (1 in 10) are born premature in the US each year which is higher than that of most other developed nations. This is the journeys of our first born son, Finnegan, who was born 14 weeks early and weighed only 1 pound 15 ounces at birth. Of our daugher, Korrigan, who was born a healthy 7 pounds, 7 ounces at 37 weeks. And of our second son, MacKeegan, who was also born at 37 weeks at a whopping 8 pounds, 13 ounces. Our continued adventures reminds us daily how good God is.

Wenatchee or Bust - Day 5

Start: Gray Wolf Inn, West Yellowstone, MT
End: StayBridge Suites, Missoula, MT
Total miles: 339 miles (approx)

Apparently all four kiddos stayed up late last night, so they ended up sleeping in. I worked out (wasn't able to run due to my sore throat) and then woke my kiddos up to take to breakfast. Emma woke up shortly later.

After packing, we headed over to the local pharmacy to grab my prescription and then head back into Yellowstone. I was worried the pharmacy experience would be bad considering we are traveling, but honestly, SUPER easy. I called, everything was ready before I even GAVE them my insurance information, I walked in and immediately paid for my prescription and left. I mean, the Big Pharmacy Companies need to take note. Seriously.

On our way to Mammoth Hot Springs, we stopped at Gibbon Falls...one of my favorite places. It is a nice walk and BEAUTIFUL views of the water fall. I was surprised at how few people took the walk down to the end. I mean...so lazy!

When we went through Yellowstone on our last trip, we weren't able to stop at Mammoth Hot Springs because it was raining. So I really wanted to but it was PACKED. Like I guess that is where EVERYBODY in Yellowstone was! (however, we had to skip Norris Geyser Basin AGAIN today because it was too full...boo! Next time.) While I LOVED Mammoth...let's just say Korri acted like she was dying. Literally. It was so frustrating because it wasn't THAT far or bad. Argh! Jim and I wanted to walk it all, but had to settle for just the front part. Oh, well. Poor Emma's bad back acted up and she wasn't able to do as much as she wanted either (which Korri was very thankful for because then they got to rest together on a bench while we went to the top). Someday Jim and I are going to come back and do all the walking at all the stops!

On the way out we saw a ton of animals! Which seemed weird to us that they would be by an entrance/exit but the northern one is fairly small.

Then we drove the 4 and a half hours to Missoula. Mac slept for over TWO HOURS! I think he was tired from all the walking earlier. I was able to read with Finn from Wings of Fire for a bit, which was fun. but gave me a kink in my neck as he likes to see the pages when I read. The sacrifices moms make. LOL

We got to the StayBridge Suites in Missoula around 6:30. We unpacked, I started a load of laundry (free laundry, Sa-Weet!) and then we had dinner and swam. Typical night for us.

Emma worked on Mac's second video today: Mac's Travel Day! So funny. But it gives them all something fun to do. And Mac offers so much fodder! Seriously. I'll post the link when we post it to YouTube. He'll want you to subscribe...just ask him!! LOL

Tomorrow: Wenatchee!! So excited for family time. (and not to be traveling for a couple days!!)
