The puff is in his mouth in this pic and he is figuing out what exactly to do with it. He still won't pick them up and put them in his mouth, but if we offer it, he will eat it. Progress.Then on Sunday, Finn was reading with Memere and trying to grab the book so Jim handed him the biscuit...to which Finn opened his mouth really wide and started gumming it to death!
We were shocked. Up to this point, he has played with the biscuit in this hand, but never put it in his mouth, other than when we put it in there for him. He proceeded to naw on it until there was only a soggy nub left. 
As you can see, he was a mess. His face and hair were covered and his jersey, undershirt, jeans and socks were all covered, including Memere! I guess they might be "highchair only" treats going forward! Oh well, it was really cute. Good thing it was bath night :)

ha! oh yeah - i forgot to mention that those bicuits are really messy! I usually give him one right before bathtime! Good Earth makes some as well that are smaller and are not quite as messy, but I dont think they taste as good as the gerber because Dane is just not interested in them.
