How quickly things change

Yes, I am now a full-time employee. It all happened so quickly, I didn't even have the chance to breathe, let alone tell many people. Today was my first day and while I am completely overwhelmed and exhausted, I am looking forward to what is to come. I am a Project Manager for Capella University on a contract basis through the end of the year and work out of the Capella Tower in downtown Minneapolis. This position is to project manage about 450 courses that need to go through a series of steps to align scoring guide criterion to course competencies.

After five different visits, we finally decided on a daycare! It is 6 blocks from our house, which just has value to us that you can't put a monetary value on. We just decided that the kiddos' first day will be Friday. I know they will be fine, but I just have mixed feelings about it. They are my babies and it is far different to think of them at home playing with Grandma than at a center! I am really sad about what I/we had to give up by not being a stay-at-home mom any more, but it just all fell into place and we felt it was really meant to be. I am so thankful that my mom was able to come and stay with the kids today and tomorrow. I only wish she would move in and be our nanny. Any other takers? DeAnn?
