Finn received his very first set of real (junior!) golf clubs this morning! Yes, I agree with you that he is spoiled, but Jim felt VERY strongly about getting them AND they were on sale, so I felt like I couldn't say no.
The golf set comes equipped with a driver, wood, iron and putter, a deluxe stand bag with a rain cover. What?!? Doesn't every 3-year old need that? As you can see, he was VERY excited. He, daddy and uncle John have a tee time at a Eagle Lake Youth Golf Center at 10:30 this morning. Jim and Finn went early so they could go to the driving range and practice putting beforehand. I'm excited to hear how it went! Oh, and now Finn said that Korri can have his old plastic golf club set and he'll show her how to use them when she can walk! What a great big brother :)
Also, for the record, Korri needed a morning nap yesterday and today! I can't remember the last time she took a morning nap. Guess daycare did tire her out on Friday!
The four of us went to Benihana last night for a celebration dinner with Stacey, Dillon, Connie and Sam. Man, Finn LOVED it. Korri pretty much cried/whined the whole time, but Finn's reaction was classic. It is so fun to experience these things through the eyes of your child! And a very huge congratulations to Stacey. We are so proud of you and so happy to help celebrate last night!

Nearly half a million babies (1 in 10) are born premature in the US each year which is higher than that of most other developed nations. This is the journeys of our first born son, Finnegan, who was born 14 weeks early and weighed only 1 pound 15 ounces at birth. Of our daugher, Korrigan, who was born a healthy 7 pounds, 7 ounces at 37 weeks. And of our second son, MacKeegan, who was also born at 37 weeks at a whopping 8 pounds, 13 ounces. Our continued adventures reminds us daily how good God is.
