Swim swimmin' away

Yesterday Finn and I headed up to St. Cloud to visit Auntie NaeNae. We wanted to see her new apartment (which is absolutely beautiful by the way...totally jealous) and Finn needed a hair cut and I needed a color. It was kind of a rainy day, which was fine because there is a pool in Auntie's building!

I didn't bring my swim suit and Finn was upset that I wasn't swimming, too, but too bad. Because of the hour plus drive, the visit seemed way too short, but it was still really good. I'm sure we'll be heading in that direction this winter so Finn can go swimming with auntie. Both Austin and Finn love to swim, as does auntie, so it works out well!

Memere and Grandpa left for home yesterday while we were in St. Cloud. Jim and Ron went to the Gopher game, which I'm sure they both enjoyed (even if the Gophers lost...shocker!). While she was here, Lynn washed close to a million loads of laundry. Okay, maybe not a million, but a lot including almost every single towel in our house, which I greatly appreciate. Now I just need to get everything put away!

After a very tough and trying day, NeeNee, Les and their two dogs stayed over night Friday night. Pepper, the younger dog, was pretty sick, but the outlook is much better now...thankfully! Tough day, but hopefully some time with Finn took her mind off everything for a little while (Finn has that effect on people!). That night Jim made homemade pizza for all of us and it was awesome.

Friday morning, Memere came with us to swim class.

Finn had a blast, but I was a little disappointed with the class. We started late and ended early. Argh, oh, well. It sure is easier when Jim comes along.
