Well, karate graduation, anyway! All five of us graduated tonight! Finn received his green belt. Jim, Korri and I received our gold belts and Mac received his double stripe gold belt. It was a long night but so rewarding. The kiddos were super excited for their new belts, especially Mac. He's been talking about it for over a week and telling everybody he's getting a double gold belt!
Mac was first.

Then it was Korri.

Finn's turn.

Then after a quick dinner break, it was Jim and my turn. Video taken by Korri! She's the only one of our children who actually wanted to watch our graduation.

No individual pictures of Jim and me, but here are all of our graduation group pictures! (Where's Waldo!! LOL)
Notice how happy Mac is? Mr. Newman (the one in red with his arm around him) might be his favorite person on earth!
So now Finn will be working toward his purple belt; Jim, Korri and I will be working toward our green belt and Mac will be working toward his double green stripe belt! Each belt gets progressively more difficult, so we'll see how things go!

Nearly half a million babies (1 in 10) are born premature in the US each year which is higher than that of most other developed nations. This is the journeys of our first born son, Finnegan, who was born 14 weeks early and weighed only 1 pound 15 ounces at birth. Of our daugher, Korrigan, who was born a healthy 7 pounds, 7 ounces at 37 weeks. And of our second son, MacKeegan, who was also born at 37 weeks at a whopping 8 pounds, 13 ounces. Our continued adventures reminds us daily how good God is.
