But with all the hustle and bustle and stress, it is good to keep perspective. Jim sent me this image saying, "For some reason, this spoke to me when thinking about all of the stuff that is scheduled for the kids."
It made me tear up. I always want kids around to run to activities and coordinate schedules and events to go to. I may feel differently in 10 years (LOL!!) but thinking about how one day we'll wake up and there won't be places to go and things to do. I'm sad. I know the solution is NOT to have more babies...but I'm just saying!
I guess that's what grand-parenting is for. We'll just have to wait patiently for that stage of our lives (Mac doesn't leave the house for FOURTEEN more years, so I think we're good!!). Plus, the good thing is that Jim and I like spending time together, so maybe we'll be able to make up for lost time ;) But it is always good to remember to appreciate what you have right now, even if they may seem like challenges, for this too shall pass and change.
