Yesterday, Mac had his 3 year pictures taken. And I was NOT looking forward to it. He was HORRIBLE (like possessed by the Devil, horrible) at his well child appointment last week so my expectations were very low. BUT...I wanted at least a couple good pictures. I prayed on the way there that he would just have SOME compliance. He fell asleep about 10 minutes before we got there, so I sat in the van until exactly 10 am (I didn't want to be late but wanted him to get as much sleep as possible).
Honestly, he wasn't great, but I shouldn't have worries. Renee, our photographer whom we've used since Mac was 18 months old) was wonderful with him. I think she could tell I was stressed out when we walked in and she told me that we had plenty of time and to just let him play with the toys/props for a while. (i.e. just breathe!) I immediately calmed down and we got started.
And the funny thing, this was the first picture she took and it was a keeper...like "We got it. We're done!" LOL I worry for nothing.

As you will see, we also got a couple family and sibling pictures. Renee really does a great job! If anybody is in need of a great photographer, check out her website: http://www.reneefromdassel.com/
Nearly half a million babies (1 in 10) are born premature in the US each year which is higher than that of most other developed nations. This is the journeys of our first born son, Finnegan, who was born 14 weeks early and weighed only 1 pound 15 ounces at birth. Of our daugher, Korrigan, who was born a healthy 7 pounds, 7 ounces at 37 weeks. And of our second son, MacKeegan, who was also born at 37 weeks at a whopping 8 pounds, 13 ounces. Our continued adventures reminds us daily how good God is.
