Back to reality. The age old struggle of being happy to be home but sad that vacation is over.
Saturday we got back to Oville around 6pm and decided to walk down to dinner (trying to get a little exercise). After dinner, even though we were all pretty tired and it didn't start until 7:30pm, we decided to go to Uncle John's baseball game. I'm SO glad we did. They kids had a great time (Finn had his glove and chased foul balls for a quarter each!) and the Rox won when Uncle John took the game winning bases loaded walk in the bottom of the ninth inning!
Mac LOVES baseball and found the perfect seat with a table (i.e. sitting on the feet part of the bleachers)!
Sunday, we went out to the lake for lunch before we headed HOME.
We left around 2:30 and got home around 5:30pm. Amazing how "short" the three hour drive felt when it usually feels so long!!
Mac ran over to his LEGOS and said, "Toys! Open!" I think we were all glad to be home.
Nearly half a million babies (1 in 10) are born premature in the US each year which is higher than that of most other developed nations. This is the journeys of our first born son, Finnegan, who was born 14 weeks early and weighed only 1 pound 15 ounces at birth. Of our daugher, Korrigan, who was born a healthy 7 pounds, 7 ounces at 37 weeks. And of our second son, MacKeegan, who was also born at 37 weeks at a whopping 8 pounds, 13 ounces. Our continued adventures reminds us daily how good God is.
