Nearly half a million babies (1 in 10) are born premature in the US each year which is higher than that of most other developed nations. This is the journeys of our first born son, Finnegan, who was born 14 weeks early and weighed only 1 pound 15 ounces at birth. Of our daugher, Korrigan, who was born a healthy 7 pounds, 7 ounces at 37 weeks. And of our second son, MacKeegan, who was also born at 37 weeks at a whopping 8 pounds, 13 ounces. Our continued adventures reminds us daily how good God is.

The doctor just rounded and is sending us home, hopefully yet this morning! The contractions I'm having are few, small and not productive, so they are comfortable sending me home. The doctor wants me on modified bedrest, which means if I didn't have to take care of a two year old as my job, I could go about my business. But since taking care of a two year old is probably more work than several "normal" jobs combined, she wants me to take it easy and get as much help with Finn as possible. She checked my cervix and after all that hullabaloo, I am still where I was when we came in Wednesday morning (was that Wed?!?! Man, time is warped here).
