We are so truly lucky and blessed to have the people in our lives that we do. Yesterday, Sam, Stacey and Dillon came over to help get the baby's room cleared out. It was something that has been causing me stress for a couple weeks but Jim needed some help. They helped bring a desk over and Sam and Jim set it up downstairs while Stacey cleared out the office of almost everything! It might not sound like a big deal, but it went above and beyond the call of duty and we truly appreciated the help. Oh, and Stacey made a lasagna dinner for all of us, too! You can't beat that. Thank you so much, you guys.
And today, NeNe and Uncle Les are coming over to help get started on painting the baby's room! Just getting these things done will allow me to relax a little bit. I was worried that we wouldn't have a place to put baby girl Thomas if she did decide to come early. Now with the room cleared out and if we can get most or all of the painting done today, we can at least set up the crib and have a place for her to sleep! It feels so good and we really are so lucky to have people who are willing to help us, especially when we didn't even ask! Thank you :)
Hey, how about those Seahawks, Papa?!?! ;)
Nearly half a million babies (1 in 10) are born premature in the US each year which is higher than that of most other developed nations. This is the journeys of our first born son, Finnegan, who was born 14 weeks early and weighed only 1 pound 15 ounces at birth. Of our daugher, Korrigan, who was born a healthy 7 pounds, 7 ounces at 37 weeks. And of our second son, MacKeegan, who was also born at 37 weeks at a whopping 8 pounds, 13 ounces. Our continued adventures reminds us daily how good God is.
