Nearly half a million babies (1 in 10) are born premature in the US each year which is higher than that of most other developed nations. This is the journeys of our first born son, Finnegan, who was born 14 weeks early and weighed only 1 pound 15 ounces at birth. Of our daugher, Korrigan, who was born a healthy 7 pounds, 7 ounces at 37 weeks. And of our second son, MacKeegan, who was also born at 37 weeks at a whopping 8 pounds, 13 ounces. Our continued adventures reminds us daily how good God is.

Well that was quite the snow storm. They are saying it is the worst storm since the Halloween blizzard of 1991 (which I remember fondly). As of right now, 17+ inches have fallen in Minneapolis with 4-6' snow drifts and the temperature is fighting to stay at Zero degrees. The Metro Dome roof; where the Vikings were scheduled to play the Giants today at Noon; deflated this morning and now they don't know if/when/where the game will be played. I was very disappointed to have to miss my cousin's wedding yesterday in Willmar which is normally a 2 hour drive, because of the weather. We figured we could have driven in Friday instead of waiting until Saturday, but we were afraid we wouldn't get back today! I hate when weather makes you change your plans. On the "bright" side, we don't have to worry about having a white Christmas this year...or from the looks of it, a white Jan/Feb/Mar and probably April! I told Jim that his car will still be under a snow drift come July (seriously, it is entirely enclosed in a drift!). I'm just glad I didn't have a need to go to the hospital yesterday. Can you please remind me why we live here again? Finn asked Jim last night before bed if they could go build a snowman! Ha!
