Nearly half a million babies (1 in 10) are born premature in the US each year which is higher than that of most other developed nations. This is the journeys of our first born son, Finnegan, who was born 14 weeks early and weighed only 1 pound 15 ounces at birth. Of our daugher, Korrigan, who was born a healthy 7 pounds, 7 ounces at 37 weeks. And of our second son, MacKeegan, who was also born at 37 weeks at a whopping 8 pounds, 13 ounces. Our continued adventures reminds us daily how good God is.

Finn and I went over to my aunt Karen's for a visit this morning. Okay very late morning, as Mr. Finnegan didn't get out of bed until 10:30! I'd told Karen we'd get there between 10:30 and 11...needless to say, we were a little late (how do you plan for THAT?!?!). Finn had a super time. My godson, John (14 years old) was home for a few weeks, which was the reason for our visit. Anthony (almost 9) and Rachel (6) kept Finn busy the whole time. I'm bummed I forgot to take any pictures! It was a really nice way to spend an afternoon. We headed out when Finn showed signs of bring tired. It was funny, like a switch was flipped and he was done. Thanks for the wonderful lunch, conversation and company!
