I normally would wait until tomorrow to post about Finn's PT this morning, but since we won't have access, I just wanted to share this quickly. Finn used a walker today in PT! It was so cute and he looked SO big. They often use different kinds of walkers to help kids with delays in walking, which Finn obviously has. He didn't really "get" it, but Kristine (PT) said that is very common the first time they try. She also said that the plan will be to use one kind or another at each visit going forward to see if he takes to one (they have the walk behind push toys to try, too). Yay...anything to help little Mr. Finnegan to walk...I'm game! And of course I didn't bring my camera today to take a picture. Oh, well. There's always next time.
We're outta here. Have a fabulous weekend, everybody!
Nearly half a million babies (1 in 10) are born premature in the US each year which is higher than that of most other developed nations. This is the journeys of our first born son, Finnegan, who was born 14 weeks early and weighed only 1 pound 15 ounces at birth. Of our daugher, Korrigan, who was born a healthy 7 pounds, 7 ounces at 37 weeks. And of our second son, MacKeegan, who was also born at 37 weeks at a whopping 8 pounds, 13 ounces. Our continued adventures reminds us daily how good God is.
