Nearly half a million babies (1 in 10) are born premature in the US each year which is higher than that of most other developed nations. This is the journeys of our first born son, Finnegan, who was born 14 weeks early and weighed only 1 pound 15 ounces at birth. Of our daugher, Korrigan, who was born a healthy 7 pounds, 7 ounces at 37 weeks. And of our second son, MacKeegan, who was also born at 37 weeks at a whopping 8 pounds, 13 ounces. Our continued adventures reminds us daily how good God is.

So big

Memere stopped by for a surprise visit yesterday! What a treat. She was in town at the doctor's to get her port removed and the doctor said she is now CURED from her breast cancer! Hurray!!! Finn was napping when she got here, but woke up shortly after. Here Finn is telling Memere a story. She got to feed him lunch and play with him for a bit before she had to leave in order to beat rush hour traffic. Finn had a blast. He was laughing or smiling the whole time.

Jim and I started trying to teach Finn "so big" on Sunday. I think it is cute when kids can do that. Well, he already figured it out yesterday.
So big! While playing with Memere's phone and who said males can't multi-task?!?! He did it yesterday morning when playing in the office (I got it on video) and he was showing off to Memere today, too. Not sure if he will do it on command yet, but he can do it! My next "trick" I want to teach him is Me: Finn, how old are you? Finn: One (with his index finger pointed up)! Might be a little ambitious, but we'll see!
